Rainbow Kids Pre-School in Malatjie Informal Settlement

Lucky More cares for more than 60 children from her home in Lanseria daily.

Our children are aged 3 months to 6 years & come from one of the poorest communities in northern Johannesburg. Over the years, we have registered Rainbow as an NPO and installed solar power and running water to some parts of the creche. There is no government funding available to the creche so all development & running costs are privately funded.

If anyone would like to get involved in our arts and crafts program, raising funds for development and outings or would like to donate children’s clothing, books, medicines, nappies or toys.
